Well, our little train that could keeps getting bigger... Going places.
This weekend was our performance in Downtown Disney.
It was A LOT of practice... Mini-crossfit classes,I think... But in the end it was worth it. (completely)
For some... The weekend started out as a road trip like any other; a group of people-who-love-each-other goofing off...
I love this photo because it sheds a little light on the fun our team has with each other.
Becky had a schedule itinerary that had us dressed and ready in the hotel library at 3p. (for a bit it looked like a hair salon....poor hotel)
You may be asking yourself.... Why is Becky dressed in multi-layered black and gold with a Banana colored BUTTERCUP leotard?
Layering, my friends, is the secret to any quick costume change.
A quick parental shot... The backbone of our team
15 minutes until we need to leave... The group shots started, naturally

Then... Becky spots a fantastic stairwell. Tells us to all go that way.
Becky's hubby, John, has an eye for symmetry... Got us lined up quicker for this shot.
And... You know... We had to a 'ta-da' one. (my favorite pose)
Piling into the cars....
To arrive at the Disney Performing Arts area.... We were greeted by, Karen, who was very-Disney-magical in her pep talk to us....

Ok... The best-best-BEST part about this photo is Briana's hand reaching out to halt a photo-bombing Vinny... WITHOUT breaking her smile. Love it!
Disney has a practice dance studio... Makes sense, they do LOTS of performing themselves.
We ran through it once... It was all we had time for.
Most important were the numbers on the base-boards. Helped tremendously with symmetry.
We arrived at Downtown Disney....
.... To this (yeah, baby!!)
How cute is the trio that were last standing at the end? We had to change the ending... Added Mia and olivia3... Because there are rules about impersonating people (Vinny couldn't stand alone)
Now... The race was on to change outfits without the audience missing us.
Que... Jeff. He came out and introduced us EACH. (look at Bri's face... You can almost feel her sweetness)
One by one.... Here is Olivia1 (she is just as funny as she is pretty, too)
As we came off-stage, there was a fantastic race to change those Elvis outfits.
Meanwhile... Jeff brought Becky out. She toyed with the audience a bit (buying time, really)

oh... By the way... That water cooler in the back was EMPTY.
who sounds more guilty? The Jazz band or the 'Sonic Boom' choir...hmmmm?
Our second act was a mix of 4 country songs... 7 minutes long

One final group shot... Always amazes me how we ALL stay.
All in all... It was a great time. Some went to parks, some didn't. (raising hand... Guilty)
But, once again, this team pulled together to perform amazingly... Both near and far.
