Gloriana concert at Round Up (11-9-12)

Well, our little-team-that-could is setting up for a VERY busy holiday season.

Last night we performed at the Round Up ( which is a country dance bar in Davie). The band Gloriana was singing and WE were the opening act.

Here we are without Becky. (it looks like someone is missing in the middle)

Try to keep your eyes focused on the knee and above places of this photo. There was a time when the shoes we wear to ARRIVE were coordinated, but we, clearly, have gotten away from that. So, for now, don't look TOO hard at our mismatched feet. 😳

What you DON'T see... The weather was our first blast of cold air. Night was about 60 degrees. Everyone arrived bundled in a mild winter jacket. The better group shot would've been everyone in their coats.

Once we got inside, our group was ushered into the pool playing area. Above is Brianna and Holly killing time as we waited.

Then, the formed a circle for some hand-jive thing.

Below, Richard and Stacy ( Mia's grandma and Papa). Richard is really funny. A man with a big heart and a quick eye. Stacy... Is everyone's Mom. She's great! (below them is Mia)

So, then we line up.... Finally. And the dance crowd was asked to leave the floor. And we go to the side of the dance floor.

Everyone else heard the 'say cheese'.

Look at those pretty cousins on the left!!! Doesn't the younger one look like a baby Sally-Jessie-Raphael with those red glasses?? Too cute.

To the far right is Lora. She is our #2. I'll introduce her in a future post.

(mind you... This is only the more advanced classes. The levels behind us as quickly gaining ground, all levels combined... We are 60 cloggers!!

Really.... We are getting very big. Awesome!!!

Lora.... Find her in the group shot. She was wearing the best boots. I want us to put taps on them for another shoe option.

Becky.... I think she was excited for us.

It was school night, so we all had to fly out. Some cloggers come from coral springs. ( a 20 mile drive)

Now THAT is dedication.
